Job Purpose
The chief medical resident (CMR) leads the resident physicians in a non-WSU residency program. The chief medical resident primarily serves as a clinician-educator and liaison between the program and residents. The CMR can supervise clinical duties, perform administrative functions, set up and supervise educational conferences, coordinate schedules, participate on committees, assist with recruitment and lead other activities determined by the Program Director.
