Clinical Assistant Professor, Associates Degree Registered Nursing
Job Description
Responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and administration of ADRN courses and clinical student experiences. This includes curriculum coordination and evaluation, clinical site development and evaluation, course scheduling, simulation and clinical oversight in order to enhance nursing student experiences and help prepare nursing students for the Register Nurse role.

Key Responsibilities
- Acts as a faculty advisor for a subset of ADRN students.
- Actively participates in on-going team meetings; participates in ISU committees per program needs.
- Builds and teaches didactic, simulation and/or clinical courses.
- Assists with maintenance and updates of computer-based content in ADRN courses.
- Maintain accurate, timely student records; use adult learning principles and multiple methods of instructional delivery to enhance student learning.
- Monitors students in clinical course sections, including making clinical site visits and/or in-person clinical rotations.
- Actively participates in on-going team meetings.
- Participates in program continuous quality improvement (CQI) via on-going program evaluation.
- Maintains current personal CPR certification, immunization records, CV, Idaho RN licensure, etc.
- Assist with accreditation and administrative functions as needed.
- Assists with Idaho Board of Nursing requirements/activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree with a major in nursing
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Idaho
- At least three years full-time, successful employment as an RN
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years or more of employment as an RN
- Three years or more of experience as a nurse educator
