Clinic/Tenure Track Faculty Position (Multiple Positions)

The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry is currently seeking a faculty member for a clinic/tenure track position in position of Clinical Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities: Responsible for teaching dentistry courses assigned by the Dean. Prepare and deliver class lectures, answer student questions, and assign student work. Tests, grades and counsels students to achieve academic and professional goals. With classroom teaching as a foundation, assist and encourage students to reach their educational and professional objectives. This includes meeting with students as requested to discuss difficult concepts explained in class, mentoring students using professional experience, and providing guidance as to professional success

Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S), Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) or educational equivalent.
