Clinical Associates in Anesthesia Part Time (50% - 80%)

The University of Chicago's Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care seeks Clinical Associates from 50% - 80% effort for renewable terms of up to three years. Clinical responsibilities will include providing perioperative care in operating room and non-operating room environments. Covered locations include the University of Chicago Medical Center main campus in Hyde Park, and possibly system network sites including Ingalls Memorial Hospital, our location in Crown Point Indiana, and other sites to be added in the future. These positions do not require formal teaching or scholarly activity, compensation is dependent on qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible. Clinical Associates will have full access to the University of Chicago and the Department of Anesthesia & Critical Care, including but not limited to, educational conferences and CME activities as the clinical schedule allows.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and Indiana, and 3) be BC/BE or equivalent in anesthesiology.
