New Bolton Center has an ongoing need for Clinical Care Technicians. Penn Vet's New Bolton Center provides an internationally renowned standard of care. Located on a campus of some 700 acres in Chester County, Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center has one of the largest caseloads of any academic large animal hospital in the nation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing general patient care including grooming, daily stall cleaning and disinfecting, feeding and watering, walking, applying standing wraps, and stocking clinical areas.
• Horse handling and restraint for procedures, medical exams and surgery, hydrotherapy, and additional animal husbandry duties as assigned.
• Maintain patient treatment areas and equipment after procedures have been completed in addition to other housekeeping or grounds keeping tasks as assigned. Documenting stall cleaning status as needed and following Bio security protocols.
• Collaborating frequently with other members of the clinical care team.
• Client interactions including admitting and discharging patients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Ability to perform strenuous work and tolerate exposure to weather, chemicals and allergens required.

Clinical Care Technician A: 0-1 years of large animal handling experience is required.

Clinical Care Technician B: 1-3 years of large animal handling including equine experience is required.
