"Clinical Neuropsychologist - Health Sciences Clinical Professor and Clinical Neurology Series"

The Department of Neurology, Division of Neuropsychology, invites applications for a position in clinical neuropsychology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine.

The Division of Neuropsychology consists of four adult neuropsychologists who conduct evaluations for adults with various neurological conditions, including memory disorders, movement disorders (such as DBS evaluations), stroke, traumatic brain injury, oncology, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and psychiatric conditions. This role is ideal for a generalist providing evaluations for a wide variety of disorders.

Clinics are located in Orange and Irvine, with the position primarily at UCI Medical Center in Orange.

Qualifications: A PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology and completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Candidates must be eligible for or licensed to practice in California, with experience in adult neuropsychological assessments. The role includes supervising practicum students and postdoctoral fellows.

Criteria for Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: Teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; participate in scholarly activities; and contribute to University and community service.

Criteria for Professor of Clinical Neurology Series: Conduct significant research; deliver high-quality patient care; teach fellows, residents, and medical students; and contribute to University and public service, with exceptional teaching skills required.
