Position Summary

The Georgia College Advising Corps (GCAC) recruits service-minded recent graduates to support low income, first-generation, and underrepresented students in accessing higher education. GCAC college advisers serve in public high schools across Georgia, working alongside school counseling staff to guide students through the college admissions process.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work with high school seniors (45%)
• Assist students with finding scholarship resources (20%)
• Complete GCAC reports and data tracking (15%)
• Work with the site liaison (10%)
• Host college fairs and information sessions (5%)
• Conduct outreach to younger students (5%)
