The Sisseton Wahpeton College seeking qualified candidates for the position of College Counselor. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or related field (preferred); Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, or related field (required). Candidates should have experience working in school or college counseling setting. Knowledge of college admissions processes and requirements. Strong organizational and planning skills. Must be friendly and have a positive attitude. Knowledge in using college and career readiness software. Commitment to the academic and personal growth of students. Demonstrate a high level of integrity, responsibility, and ethical conduct. Commitment to confidentiality and ethical counseling practices. Experience working with a tribal community/organization. Participate in increasing knowledge of Dakota Culture and language. Comply with all SWC, Tribal, and Federal policies, regulations, and laws that govern the college. Salary range: DOE.
