Job Description Summary
Student Health and Counseling (ShaC) seeks a licensed clinician with a focus on providing psychological services including individual and group therapy, intake assessments, crisis intervention and consultation to students with diverse psychological concerns with a clinical focus on eating disorders and body image issues, in a short-term treatment model. This position plays a key role in supporting students through an integrated care model, collaborating closely with medical providers, psychiatric prescribers, dietitians, and case managers across SHaC.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services including evidenced based treatment for eating disorders, generally psychotherapy, and trauma informed care in a short-term treatment model.
- Conduct intake evaluations, risk assessments and treatment planning in collaborations with broader health team and campus stakeholders.
- Co-facilitate and lead therapy groups for students with body image and eating concerns.
- Collaborate with Public Health and Wellbeing in developing and implementing programming and outreach.
- Provide clinical training and supervision to trainees.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Counseling Psychologist: Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling with 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Counseling Psychologist Senior: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree required in Psychology or Social Work, with 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. Student Health and Counseling is seeking candidates with a solid understanding of how marginalization, inequality, and identity impact students. An understanding and foundation in multicultural counseling is strongly preferred. Experience with eating-related concerns and second language capabilities s highly desirable. The position requires some flexible hours during the week to cover evening shifts, 5-7:30 pm. Some Saturdays, 10 am to 3 pm may also be required.
