The University of the West of England (UWE) is seeking a creative and experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of communications, engagement and knowledge-exchange activities across DRAGoN’s ambitious programme of data and analytical research. A key priority will be to design, develop and launch a new Digital Knowledge and Community Hub, creating an accessible and engaging focal point for DRAGoN’s research, data resources, analytical tools, guidance…

and learning materials. You will also lead the development and implementation of DRAGoN’s communications and engagement strategy, manage its digital and social media presence, and develop innovative ways of communicating complex research to diverse audiences. Working closely with researchers, programme colleagues and external partners, you will lead a varied programme of workshops, seminars, conferences, stakeholder roundtables and networking activities, helping to build an active community around DRAGoN’s work and strengthen connections between research, policy and practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised communications and engagement professional with excellent written and interpersonal skills, strong digital expertise and experience of engaging diverse audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the public profile and engagement activities of a major research programme and help ensure its evidence and resources achieve meaningful reach and impact.

£38,784 to £46,049 (pro-rata), Grade G
