The University at Buffalo is seeking a detail-driven Constituent Records Assistant to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in advancing student success, medical research, and UB’s bold future within University Advancement. In this role, you’ll ensure the accuracy and integrity of alumni and donor data in Salesforce, information that fuels engagement, fundraising, and impact across the university.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be a trusted steward of alumni and donor information by creating, updating, and maintaining constituent records in Salesforce and related systems—ensuring the data that powers engagement and fundraising is accurate, complete, and reliable.
- Act as a detective for good: research and verify biographical, educational, and employment data using internal systems and public sources, helping the university maintain strong, meaningful connections with its community.
- Play an active role in strengthening data quality across University Advancement by collaborating with teammates on process improvements, audits, system testing, and special projects that enhance the value of constituent records.
- Join a collaborative, mission-driven team by partnering across Advancement, supporting staff training as needed, and participating fully in divisional meetings and professional development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a dynamic professional office environment.
- Working knowledge of data systems and workflows.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Data entry speed and accuracy as well as an ability to perform repetitive tasks. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide array of individuals on projects and programs.
- Solid, general knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
