Job Summary/Basic Functions
Serves as the primary point of contact for the Office of Human Resources, providing high-quality customer service to faculty, staff, students, applicants, and visitors. This role manages front office operations, responds to general HR inquiries, and coordinates the intake and routing of personnel documentation. Acts as a liaison between Human Resources and the University community, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication and support.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required.
Experience: One year of work experience required.

Job Duties:
- 35% - Serves as the primary point of contact for the Office of Human Resources and acts as a liaison between Human Resources and the University community. Ensures clear, timely, and professional communication by responding to inquiries received via phone, email, and in-person visits. Provides assistance by addressing general questions regarding human resources policies and procedures and referring more complex matters to appropriate HR personnel. - (Essential)
- 30% - Receives, reviews, and organizes incoming personnel documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established University, state, and federal requirements. Routes documentation to appropriate Human Resources staff for processing and monitors status as needed to support efficient workflow and operational effectiveness. - (Essential)
- 20% - Performs data entry and supports routine human resources transactions, including employment verification's. Identifies and resolves routine issues within scope of responsibility and escalates matters as appropriate. - (Essential)
- 10% - Assists with onboarding processes for new employees, including preparation and maintenance of personnel files, facilitation of required new hire documentation, and coordination of new employee orientation activities. - (Essential)
- 5% - Provides administrative support to the Office of Human Resources, including maintenance of records and files, support of operational workflows, and assistance with special projects and departmental initiatives. Identifies opportunities to improve front office processes and enhance service delivery to faculty, staff, applicants, and the broader University community. - (Essential)
