Maintain current knowledge base of assigned areas' scope of
work
Acts as a point of contact for internal and external
customers
Coordinates departmental and management calendars and
schedules. Assists with planning, schedules and coordinates various
meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation,
and general support
Monitors and controls resources such as office supplies and
equipment needed within the department
Coordinates and communicates with vendors regarding
departmental operations
Monitor and maintain website and SharePoint sites for
department and external use
Assists with entering and tracking the department expenditures
and budget
Provide troubleshooting support on departmental operations to
management
Assists with maintaining databases to support department
operations
Takes part in special projects as needed
Assists with maintaining compliance of departmental processes
and documentation, including records maintenance
Supports management in monitoring operational deadlines
Responsible for other reasonable related duties as
assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to
do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;
carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or
driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to
perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a
Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general
office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to
carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal
exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or higher and at least 1 year of experience,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary
Hiring salary range is $38,761 - $44,575
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted
full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall
in that range is determined by your related experience and
education. Should you receive an offer of employment from Lone Star
