Core Faculty - Anesthesiology

This faculty member will provide supervision/education of residents and medical students within the department of Anesthesiology. Rank is dependent on qualifications. Instructor or higher.

Job Duties Outlined:

• Provide 1:1 clinical supervision of residents and medical students or significant involvement with each resident when supervising.
• Attend GMEC committees, conferences, etc. as requested by the Chair or Program Director
• Participate in ad hoc GME activities.
• Complete monthly resident evaluations within 1 week of the end of their rotation.
• Attend educational sessions, - M&M conferences, Journal Clubs, visiting professors, etc.
• Provide minimum of 2 didactics per year.
• Participate in semi-annual Clinical Competence Committee processes.
• Participate in departmental simulations and research activities.
