Custodial Worker Supervisor 3rd Shift
Job Summary

This is a 3rd shift position working Monday - Friday, 03:00am - 11:00am.
The Custodial Worker Supervisor performs a variety of tasks in leading custodial workers during the performance of their cleaning duties.
The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Direct oversight of 3rd shift custodial workers
- interfacing effectively with campus customers, the public and management on a daily basis
- training advanced cleaning processes to custodians during group meeting
- coaching workers 1:1 to develop their skills
- ensuring compliance with departmental objectives
- demonstrating advanced competency/knowledge in the use of custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment
- performing custodial work during emergencies and in the course of leading a team in the accomplishment of a priority assignment
- generate daily shift reports
- generate employee performance evaluations
- equalize overtime
- perform and document cleaning inspections
Minimum Qualifications
- One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (commonwealth title) or two years of experience performing custodial work
- Valid driver’s license
- Possession of a Cleaning Management Institute Certification Supervisor Level or the ability to obtain within 6 months (employer will cover costs to obtain if candidate does not possess)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the materials, methods, and practices used in custodial work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of supervisor or lead worker experience in custodial or related field
- Knowledge of APPA cleaning standards
- 1 or more years’ experience performing inspections and providing feedback to subordinates
- 2 or more years’ experience writing and delivering employee performance evaluations
- Proficiency with various Microsoft software programs
