Salary: $17 – $21 per hour

Job Summary

Perform routine and detailed housekeeping services requiring specialized tools and equipment. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: other custodial staff, including Quality Control Inspectors & Supervisors, and building/area occupants. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Perform specialized cleaning operations, typically including spray buffing, floor burnishing, sanitizing trash receptacles, stain removal, window cleaning, etc.

Job Duty 2 - Strip and refinish floors

Job Duty 3 - Perform routine housekeeping services as assigned, which normally include emptying of trash receptacles; dusting; spot cleaning; cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, medical and food service areas; restocking supplies, dust, damp or wet mopping; sweeping and vacuuming.

Job Duty 4 - Operate and maintain power equipment, which may include carpet vacuums, canister and tank vacuums, wide-area vacuums, backpack vacuums, spot cleaning machines, and other powered equipment.

Job Duty 5 - Maintain housekeeping/storage closets, tools and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.

Job Duty 6 - Utilize prescribed safety equipment, as required.

Job Duty 7 - Utilize chemicals and supplies in a safe and prescribed manner.

Job Duty 8 - Respond to work requests from building occupants and the department's service request system.

Job Duty 9 - Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Two years of job-related experience

Proposed Salary

Pay Range: $17.30-$20.73/hr.

This job requires skills in delivering housekeeping services, including operating specialized cleaning equipment and using cleaning supplies.
