Custodian III (Sunday - Thursday 10:25 pm to 6:55 am)

Job Summary

Perform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

• Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance
• Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner
• Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services
• Respond to system-transmitted service requests
• Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments, as necessary
• Operate and/or maintain assigned power equipment related to custodial services, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements: High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience: Three to five years job related experience

SKILLS: Ability to follow prescribed instructions, effectively communicate, operate basic computer applications and, work independently and as a member of a team.
