Position Summary

The Custodian position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe and sanitary conditions in and around the Erb Memorial Union (EMU). Duties include sanitation of restrooms, floor and window care, cleaning of the building, dining areas and all surrounding grounds, emptying garbage, compost and recycling, assisting with general maintenance of facility, and providing excellent customer service to all EMU staff and visitors. This position reports to the Custodial Services Manager and is part of the EMU's night shift, generally working 8:00pm-4:30AM Sunday through Thursday.

Minimum Requirements

• One year of custodial experience.
• Basic knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
