CZS Endowed Professorship (f/m/d) for Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Autonomous Systems
(Base Salary: W 2) Part-time employment is possible
Your tasks:
- Teaching (in German and English) in the field of Artificial Intelligence and related subjects in all study programs of the Department of Mathematics, Informatics, Technology
- Establishment of a research profile in the area of autonomous exploration and monitoring of natural environments and ecosystems, preferably with a focus on “Autonomous sensor systems for natural environments and ecosystems”, “Interaction, manipulation, and navigation in unknown environments” or “Collective intelligence”, as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
- Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.)
- Participation in academic self-administration
Your profile:
- Professional expertise in the teaching and research area Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Autonomous Systems, e.g., autonomous systems, swarm intelligence, cooperating systems, intelligent sensor systems, or robot navigation and planning, including practical experiences with the implementation, integration, and evaluation in real-world platforms
- Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
- Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts
- High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
- Fluent in German (minimum C2-level) and in English (minimum C1-level)
