Data Analytical Research Assistant

IRESI's research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape.

We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analytical Research Assistant to support a multidisciplinary research team working on the Research Ireland–funded RENEW project. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to activities related to data analysis, data management, and the development of the Smart Tariff Comparison Tool.

The role will focus on supporting the collection, preparation, analysis, and interpretation of energy-related and consumer datasets to inform the development, testing, and refinement of the Smart Tariff Comparison Tool. Working closely with experienced researchers and technical staff, the successful candidate will contribute to analytical workflows, data processing activities, and evidence generation to support project objectives.
