Dean of Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP)
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Dean of Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). The university seeks an experienced, visionary, and collaborative leader to guide this highly respected school into its next chapter of excellence and impact. Reporting to the provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, the dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of GSAPP. The dean will provide strategic leadership to advance the school's mission, foster academic excellence, and promote institutional effectiveness.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Articulates a compelling vision aligned with GSAPP's values and strengths.
- Recruits and retains outstanding students, faculty, and staff.
- Supports student success and faculty development.
- Ensures GSAPP's national and global reputation.
- Ensures sound fiscal stewardship and operational transparency.
- Strengthens internal cohesion and external partnerships.
- Leads strategic planning, academic innovation, fundraising, and facilities management.
Minimum Education and Experience: Ph.D.
