Major/Essential Functions
- Professionally clean teeth including prophylaxis and scaling and root planing
- Presents instructions on proper personal oral hygiene
- Captures digital radiographs
- Administers topical fluoride
- Disinfects surfaces and dental equipment
- Sterilizes dental instruments according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
- Takes thorough inventory of instruments through daily counts and logs
- Serve as Dental Assistant when needed
- Proper record keeping and maintenance both in manual and automated systems
- Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timely manner
- Answer sick call requests and schedules patients in a timely manner
Applicants will be considered for either a Full-Time or a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist Position.
