One or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2024, and/or Spring Semester 2025. Lecturers may be needed for one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Sociology, Sociological Theory, Qualitative Analysis & Field Research, Social Psychology, Socialization, Sociology of Education, Social Inequality, Environmental Sociology, Sociology of Sport, Medical Sociology, Sociology of Work and Social Casework. Other courses may also be offered.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess Masters degree in Sociology or closely related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in Sociology or related field
• Demonstrated promise of excellence in teaching (demonstrable via qualitative or quantitative evaluations, and/or via interview process)
• At least 1 year of experience teaching in a multicultural university setting is preferred.
