You will bring a successful track record of leading large technical teams and complex service operations, together with demonstrable experience of commercial income generation, service development and stakeholder engagement. Your understanding of research infrastructure, quality assurance and compliance within a university or research-intensive environment will enable you to provide both strategic direction and operational leadership. Experience of working with NHS or other public sector research partners, mentoring staff, or managing major projects would be advantageous. We are looking for an individual with strong commercial awareness, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across organisational boundaries.
