PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT: The successful candidate will collaborate on the research tasks of the research project/agreement indicated above.
LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS: CICA, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED: Collaborate in the research activities of the project. In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the marine macroalgae germplasm bank required for population reinforcement activities in the natural environment. Demonstrable experience in this type of work will be essential.
CONTRACT DURATION: Until 29 February 2028.

SELECTION CRITERIA
- Academic qualifications (up to 15 points, based on academic record):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology: up to 7.5 points / Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Sciences: up to 4 points.
- Master’s Degree in Aquaculture: up to 7.5 points / Master’s Degree in Marine Biology: up to 7.5 points / Master’s Degree in other specialisations in Organismal and Systems Biology: up to 4 points.
- Other qualifications: 0 points.
- Academic experience (up to 10 points; only merits in the field of organismal and coastal systems biology and marine aquaculture will be considered):
- JCR-indexed publications, books and book chapters published by international scientific publishers: 1 point per contribution; maximum 9 points.
- International conferences: 0.25 points per contribution; maximum 1 point.
- Experience, demonstrable through documentary evidence, in developing and maintaining marine macroalgae germplasm banks: up to 50 points (10 points per year).
- Interview: up to 25 points. Only candidates who obtain at least 35 points in criteria 1–3 above will be interviewed.
Tie-breaking criterion: In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with the highest score under criterion 3.
Minimum score for inclusion on the reserve list: 35 points, excluding the score obtained in the interview.
