Digital Outreach Specialist (NUS Graduate School)

Job Description

The National University of Singapore Graduate School (NUSGS) is seeking a creative, artistic, dynamic and self-motivated Digital Outreach Specialist (DOS) to help lead global recruitment efforts for our prestigious PhD programs. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of impactful digital experiences, including UX/UI design for our website, our virtual e-Open House, marketing collaterals, promotional materials and presentations to effectively showcase our PhD offerings to the global audience.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of in-house developers, physical outreach specialist and stakeholders to craft user-centered solutions that attract top PhD talents to NUS. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, exhibit strong creativity, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate expertise in UX/UI design.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. UX/UI Design & Product Development
    • Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, user-friendly digital products, from concept to launch.
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile-responsive platforms.
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders (e.g. other divisions within NUSGS, faculty, admissions teams, marketing, IT, and PhD students) to uncover user pain points and design solutions.
    • Define and monitor key metrics to measure product success, iterating based on user research and feedback.
    • Serve as the webmaster for the NUS Graduate School website, ensuring content updates regularly.
    • Creatively develop an interactive e-Open House web portal to engage prospective students.
  2. Marketing Collaterals & Promotional Materials Development
    • Design and produce engaging content for digital (social media) and physical marketing campaigns.
    • Lead the development of promotional materials such as brochures, corporate videos, and multimedia assets.
    • Create impactful PowerPoint presentations for NUSGS leaders to present PhD programs to targeted audiences.
  3. Corporate Gift Design and Branding
    • Elevate NUS Graduate School’s branding through thoughtful corporate gift design:
      • Oversee the design and production of premium corporate gifts for presidential-level engagements.
      • Source mid-tier corporate gifts for key stakeholders and souvenirs for prospective students.
  4. Outreach Support
    • Work closely with Physical Outreach Specialist to support efforts to promote PhD programs to prospective students locally and globally and explore partnership opportunities with other renowned Universities.
    • May have opportunities to travel internationally to support outreach efforts and assess the impact of digital solutions on recruitment activities.
