Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
The Director, Imaging Services is responsible for the operational leadership and management of imaging services at their assigned facilityor facilities. The incumbent is accountable for the clinical quality, operational performance, regulatory compliance, and financial management of imaging services within the facility. This role oversees activities to ensure imaging services are delivered in alignment with health system standards and organizational objectives while supporting initiatives related to patient access, service quality, and operational efficiency. The Director collaborates with clinical and administrative leadership on capital and technology planning, workforce development, and performance improvement, providing direct oversight and accountability for performance.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to plan strategically
- Must possess working knowledge of budget, billing, and basic cost accounting function, and Human Resource issues, principles, and concepts
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Must be familiar with all technical aspects of Radiological Sciences (Diagnostic, CT, Nuclear Med., Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, Vascular and Interventional Procedures)
- Minimum 5 years experience in supervision/management of a large comprehensive Imaging department.
- Experience working in a UC and/or union environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, as well as internal and external stakeholders at all level across the health system
- Ability to develop a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations and effectively manage change
