Director of Admissions
Linfield University invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Admissions. The successful candidate will have a solid history in recruiting and shaping the incoming student classes of all student types, first year, transfer, online and graduate. A successful record in building a strong recruitment team producing growing enrollment is also necessary. The Director will also play a pivotal role in using the Admissions CRM (Slate) and other recruitment technology to ensure the most robust prospect communication (with a focus on segmentation) and application processing campaigns are in place. The successful candidate will also have an ongoing opportunity to develop individualized recruitment plans for new and future academic programs, primarily in the graduate area. Reporting to the Chief Enrollment Management and Marketing Officer, the Director will engage an admissions team of approximately 15 staff members, with approximately 5 direct reports.
Home to over 1,700 students, Linfield University offers 54 undergraduate majors and 5 graduate programs. Required Qualifications for the Director of Admissions include:
- Earned Bachelor’s degree. (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of seven years of university admissions experience.
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
- Proven success shaping incoming student classes that result in overall enrollment growth.
- Experience building a strong recruitment team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of maximizing the use of recruitment technology.
