Job Description

The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for the leadership, management, and performance of all clinical operations within the Dental School. This position focuses exclusively on patient care delivery, clinic workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational support of the clinical education program. The Director ensures that clinic operations support student learning, faculty supervision, and high-quality patient care while maintaining financial sustainability within the clinical enterprise.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field (Masters preferred). 5-8 years of progressive healthcare or dental clinic management experience. Strong understanding of dental clinic operations and revenue cycle management. Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an academic dental school setting. Familiarity with dental practice management systems and EHR platforms. Experience managing multi-specialty or high-volume clinics.
