The University of Notre Dame's Program of Liberal Studies (PLS) invites applications for a Director of Undergraduate Studies. This is a non-tenure track teaching position with administrative and advising responsibilities. The successful candidate will serve as the principal advisor to the department's approximately 120 majors, providing academic guidance, overseeing undergraduate programming, and teaching courses within our unique integrated curriculum. We have a strong preference for candidates with teaching experience in Great Books programs or core-text curricula. The ability to teach in one or more of our disciplinary tutorials is essential. Qualifications: A candidate must hold a PhD. The appointment can be at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, or Associate Teaching Professor for candidates with appropriate administrative and teaching experience, with opportunities for reappointment and promotion to Associate Teaching Professor and Full Teaching Professor.
