Donor Relations Officer
Position overview
The Donor Relations Officer provides the welcoming first point of contact for donor enquiries and plays a pivotal role in managing the University’s donor acknowledgement program. A key member of the specialised Donor Relations team, this role thrives on collaboration with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, including Philanthropy staff engaged in fundraising and stewardship activities, donors and benefactors, students, and alumni. The Donor Relations Officer provides proactive and responsive support, ensuring the delivery of donor relations and stewardship activities. This includes supporting impactful events and experiences, and crafting effective communications that strengthen and celebrate the relationships between the University and its supporters.
Candidates with strong interpersonal and administrative skills, phone etiquette and call management, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for donors and stakeholders, strengthening relationships between ANU and its philanthropic community
- Collaborate with colleagues across ANU and ANU Advancement to celebrate, recognise and thank the university's supporters through communications and events
