The Office Assistant II provides bilingual administrative, operational, and front-line support to the DREAMers and Latine Student Success Program, including the College Access Latine Initiative (CALI) and the Unity Resource Center (URC). Reporting to the Dean of College Access and working closely with the DREAMers and Latine Student Success Coordinator, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of the program while fostering a welcoming, culturally affirming, and student-centered environment.
The position supports student engagement, outreach, program coordination, event planning, communications, data management, and office operations, while serving as one of the primary points of contact for students, families, and community partners. The Office Assistant II also conducts proactive bilingual outreach and follow-up with students and families, helping connect them to resources and services that promote engagement, persistence, and a sense of belonging. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, culturally responsive, highly organized, and committed to advancing educational equity and student success for Latine, Indigenous, immigrant, mixed-status, first-generation, and other historically underserved student populations.
This position is based at the Rock Creek Campus and requires occasional travel to support outreach activities, community partnerships, and program events.
