DVM Instructional Designer & Curriculum Manager (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a collaborative and highly self-directed Instructional Designer & Curriculum Manager to lead our clinical curriculum redesign initiatives and support instructional design efforts within a life sciences-focused academic environment. This role sits at the intersection of instructional design, assessment strategy, and curriculum management.
A key priority will be contributing to and helping manage complex curriculum initiatives, ensuring consistency in learner experience, assessment design, and instructional quality across programs.
This position is slated to begin in October 2026, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a trust-based environment with autonomy, accountability, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
About the Department
The Educational Support Services unit (ESS) supports all aspects of the educational mission at the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) to prepare veterinarians and biomedical scientists to serve society in critical roles in clinical and diagnostic veterinary medicine, biomedical research, public health, and public policy.
What We Need
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience including building faculty alliances and working within a higher education team.
Individual must possess:
- Instructional design expertise, anchored in the student-centered learning philosophy using evidence-based approaches
- Ability to build alliances and work independently to complete all projects and tasks on time with minimal supervision while effectively utilizing the skills of the larger team.
- Familiarity with Biological Sciences or related field
