Position Summary
Position responsible for performance of Electromyograms and nerve conduction studies and report findings.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedules patients appointment.
- Takes patient history, review patient charts and pulls reports.
- Performs EMG and nerve conduction studies, special electrical studies and repetitive nerve stimulation.
- Calculates NCVâ€s.
- Writes reports describing results of study and discuss results with supervisor.
- Provides insurance information for billing/writes billing tickets for in-patients.
- Maintains patient files.
