General Information
The Department of Music at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is seeking highly qualified applicants for a full-time (or full-time contracted) assistant professor (or above) in the fields of performance and conducting.

Required Qualifications (at least one of the following with proofs)
- Hold the rank of Assistant Professor or above.
- A doctoral degree in Performance or Conducting, or an equivalent diploma.
- With international recognition or distinguished teaching excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- An ability to teach courses in English.
- Teaching experience in a university music department (supporting evidence required).

4. An official copy of terminal or highest degree diploma (Note: For overseas degrees, the doctoral degree diploma, academic transcripts, and proofs of related experiences should all be authenticated by the local R.O.C. Embassy, consulate or representative office in your region.) The authenticated copy should be submitted no later than the scheduled date of the University Faculty Evaluation Committee meeting.

6. For applicants with a degree in performance
I. Please provide live video recordings of at least three concerts held within the last five years (from 16th June 2021 to 16th June 2026). These videos should be uploaded to YouTube with a link provided. At least one concert must be a solo recital.
II. Additionally, applicants who have won prizes in international competitions may choose to submit an interpretation essay for one of their performances from the past five years (from 16th June 2021 to 16th June 2026).
III. Applicants who pass the Department Faculty Evaluation Committee interview are required to submit a performance interpretation essay.
7. For applicants with a degree in conducting
I. Please provide live video recordings of at least three concerts with different repertoires held within the last five years (from 16th June 2021 to 16th June 2026). These videos should be uploaded to YouTube with a link provided.
II. Additionally, applicants who have won prizes in international competitions may choose to submit an interpretation essay for one of their performances from the past five years (from 16th June 2021 to 16th June 2026).
III. Applicants who pass the Department Faculty Evaluation Committee interview are required to submit a performance interpretation essay.
8. Applicants who have received a doctoral degree within two years are required to submit a copy of their doctoral dissertation, along with video links of their degree recital performance.

1. The materials listed above should be clearly scanned and merged into a single PDF file (preferably within 15MB) and submitted via e-mail to Ms. Yang at s0913538@gapps.ntnu.edu.tw before the deadline. 2. Applicants who advance to the Department Faculty Evaluation Committee will be invited to the campus for interview.
3. To be fully considered, applications and supporting materials must be received by 19th July, 2026.
