• 60% Research
  • Scholarly or creative activities will include advancing nursing scholarship, mentoring future nurse leaders and developing simulation and leadership within interprofessional healthcare teams.
  • These activities will be coordinated in conjunction with the college dean, associate dean and department chair.
• 20% Teaching
  • Teaching may be assigned in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs
• 20% Service to the university, college and/or department
  • Service activities will be determined in consultation with college dean, associate dean and department chair and will be consistent with department, college and university expectations and policies/procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• PhD in Nursing
• Eligible for Tenure at Professor Rank
• Extramural Funding as a PI
• Experience Mentoring Future Nurse Leaders
• Experience with Simulation Research
• Leadership Experience with Interprofessional Healthcare Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Post Secondary Teaching Experience
• Experience with Simulation
