Engineering - Non-Tenure Track Faculty
Job Description
The Hope College Engineering Department invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Engineering Instruction position (non-tenure track, renewable) to begin in August 2027. Applicants with an advanced degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field will be given preference. In addition, applicants with manufacturing or other industry experience are encouraged to apply. A successful candidate will have the ability to teach a broad range of introductory level courses as well as upper level courses within their area of expertise. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures; providing individual instruction during office hours; preparing, administering and grading examinations; advising students on related academic matters; and department and college service.
