I. Positions and Openings

II. Basic Requirements

  • 1. Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China; demonstrate a passion for teaching and research.
  • 2. Possess strong professional ethics and academic integrity with no criminal record or history of professional misconduct.
  • 3. Native speakers with a Master’s degree or higher, specialized language teaching training, and relevant certifications. Generally, 2 years of language teaching experience is required. *Note: The experience requirement is waived for those with a Master’s degree in Education/Linguistics, a teaching license from their home country, or a recognized international language teaching certificate (e.g., TEFL/CELTA).*
  • 4. Under 55 years old (born after April 30, 1970). Age limits may be flexible for exceptional candidates.
  • 5. Candidates currently under an unexpired contract with another institution in China will not be considered.

III. Key Responsibilities

Teaching and research tasks as assigned by the School of Foreign Languages.

IV. Compensation and Benefits

  • 1. Annual Salary: RMB 130,000 – 200,000 (based on teaching experience and qualifications).
  • 2. Annual Allowances: RMB 10,000 – 30,000 for housing and home-visit subsidies.
  • 3. Social Security: Standard Nanjing employee social insurance (pension, medical, unemployment, maternity, and work-injury insurance).
