Position: English Teacher (Fall 2026 role)

Category: Academic – Teaching

Work type: Full time (One academic year from September to June next year)

Work place: School of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou University, Guihuagang Campus and University Town Campus

Position Requirements:

1. Native English speaker from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia or New Zealand
2. Bachelor’s degree or above
3. Teacher certification (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
4. Majoring in English Language and Literature, Business, Commerce, etc.
5. A minimum of two years teaching experience or relevant experience in college or university (with reference letters)
6. Certificate of non-criminal record/Letter of Good Conduct
7. Good health conditions/health certificate
8. Aged 24 to 55

Job Responsibilities:

1. Expected teaching courses/subjects: Oral English; Writing, Listening & Speaking; Critical Thinking; Cross-Cultural Communication; Art of Public Speaking; Introduction to the U.K. and the U.S.; etc.
2. Expected to engage in lesson planning and course development
3. 16 teaching hours per week
