This PhD project examines entrepreneurial strategy and venture growth in global markets. Possible topics include international entrepreneurship, venture scaling, founder decision-making, growth strategy, entrepreneurial ecosystems, market entry, fundraising, innovation, and the strategic challenges faced by startups and scale-ups.
The opportunity is especially suitable for founders, entrepreneurs, investors, consultants, corporate innovation leaders, and professionals working with high-growth businesses. Candidates may examine how ventures grow across borders, adapt their business models, and build competitive advantage in different market environments.
Research may use case studies, founder interviews, comparative analysis, survey research, or mixed methods. Studies involving emerging markets, family businesses, technology ventures, or international expansion are welcome.
Tuition and scholarships
This is a self-funded doctoral research opportunity. The total tuition fee for the Franklin Hudson PhD program is €78,250. Partial merit-based scholarships may be awarded to strong candidates, up to 30% maximum of tuition. Payment plans are available.
