About the role:
Operating within National School of Allied Health, the ENVISAGE First Peoples National Partnerships, Community Engagement & Government Lead is an identified Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community leadership position that provides strategic direction for community engagement, community led program planning, cultural governance, capacity building and culturally led implementation and evaluation of ENVISAGE across all states and territories of Australia.
- Work in partnership with the ENVISAGE leadership and national team program functions.
- Lead development, evaluation, strengthening and sustainment of authentic, culturally safe relationships with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities, community controlled organisations, industry partners and facilitators.
- Guide successful delivery of the program within the Australian Government funded National Early Childhood Program guidelines.
- Exercise a high level of cultural authority and professional judgement to ensure program implementation is community led, place based and grounded in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, being and doing.
Manage and support a geographically dispersed national network of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander facilitators, partners and stakeholders providing senior leadership in community capacity building, workforce support and relational governance.
ENVISAGE is a peer support program empowering families and caregivers of children living with a developmental concern or disability. These children may experience a diverse range of conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, rare genetic conditions or acquired brain injury.

- Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,409 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
