Remuneration: $95,981 to $108,257 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of $81,105 to $91,478 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)
Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Executive Assistant to join International, International and Business Development, Chancellery Division.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative, planning and office management support to the Directors of QUT International. The role coordinates a broad range of activities, including diary and correspondence management, meeting support, stakeholder liaison, events, travel arrangements, document preparation and office processes. To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and written communication skills, sound judgement and discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a responsive environment. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide professional, confidential and high-quality support.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training or relevant experience equivalent to completion of an associate diploma with at least two (2) years’ subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide confidential executive support with proven ability to collaborate and communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills including ability to effectively work with Microsoft suite of products as well as corporate systems and other information sources to extract and interpret data.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills including the ability to draft meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, submissions and emails with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level ability to manage time and tasks effectively including prioritising work, meeting deadlines and balancing competing demands as well as the ability to embrace change and respond to unexpected challenges at short notice.
