Executive, Community Engagement

Job Purpose

The NUS Centre for Population Health (CPH) is advancing initiatives focused on improving healthy longevity, enhancing purposeful ageing, and strengthening intergenerational bonds through the Health District @ Queenstown (HD@QT) project. This national-level collaboration is led in partnership with the National University Health System (NUHS) and the Singapore Housing & Development Board (HDB).

We are seeking a passionate and community-oriented individual to support outreach and engagement efforts in Queenstown. This role will support the NUS Centre for Population Health’s agenda by conducting outreach and recruiting Queenstown residents into ongoing research initiatives under the Health District.

In addition, the incumbent will play a key role in empowering residents to actively participate in the co-creation and co-design of future health and community interventions aligned with the Centre for Population Health’s agenda.

Job Description

  • Identification, outreach, engagement and enrolment of Queenstown residents not already involved with HD@QT initiatives into existing and future Health District interventions
  • Identification of Queenstown resident needs and appropriate triaging to HD@QT and non-HD@QT services to address those needs
  • Gathering feedback regarding how well HD@QT initiatives are received by residents for feedback to HD@QT leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in any field
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in community engagement, community liaison, or similar roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups
  • Multilingual, able to speak English, Malay and understand spoken Mandarin
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
