The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking an Executive Dean of ALBA Graduate Business School, responsible for providing comprehensive academic and administrative leadership for both the ALBA Graduate Business School (AGBS) at ACG and the ALBA Association. Europe’s oldest and largest accredited American college, ACG educates more than 8,000 students across three divisions: Pierce (secondary education), Deree (undergraduate and graduate studies), and AGBS.

ALBA Graduate Business School oversees degree programs, faculty, research, and academic quality, with programs accredited under ACG’s NECHE institutional accreditation and prior EFMD/EPAS accreditations as well as AMBA. The ALBA Association, a legally distinct nonprofit founded by leading Greek business organizations, focuses on non-degree executive education, entrepreneurship, applied research, fundraising, and industry engagement.

The Executive Dean serves concurrently as Executive Dean of both the Graduate School and the ALBA Association, providing unified leadership across academic, operational, and external-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and academic leadership for ALBA’s graduate business programs
• Strengthen ALBA’s academic reputation, accreditation standing, and international profile
• Oversee faculty affairs, including recruitment, evaluation, workload, promotion, and contracts
• Lead curriculum development, program innovation, teaching plans, and research strategy
• Direct accreditation and quality assurance, including pursuit of AACSB accreditation
• Manage academic, financial, and operational planning for both AGBS and the ALBA Association
• Represent ALBA to industry, alumni, partners, and external stakeholders
• Support enrollment growth, executive education, fundraising, and corporate partnerships.

Qualifications

Candidates will hold a terminal degree in a business-related discipline, be eligible for a tenured appointment at AGBS, and demonstrate senior academic leadership experience within a business school or related higher education environment. Experience with accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, EFMD/EPAS or equivalent), budgeting, faculty leadership, graduate program oversight, and industry engagement is essential. Experience in American-style, international, or multi-unit academic environments is highly desirable.
