Position Description
Provides leadership and direction in all aspects of administering multiple university branch campuses or major satellite locations. Meets ORP eligibility requirements. Plans, develops and implements strategies for generating resources and revenues.
Has budget administrative oversight of overall operations of units. Directs and supervises multiple Managing Directors.

About the Department and/or College
Major/Essential Functions
This position serves as Texas Tech University's senior representative for strategic engagement throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Functioning as a director level business development role rather than a traditional outreach position, the Executive Director is responsible for cultivating high-impact relationships and strategic partnerships that increase Texas Tech's regional impact, expand educational and workforce opportunities, support enrollment growth, and strengthen the university's visibility and engagement across the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
Working collaboratively with Enrollment Management, Academic Colleges and programs, Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations, and university leadership, the Executive Director develops partnerships that connect the university with business, industry, school districts, community organizations, nonprofit organizations, healthcare systems, and governmental agencies.
The Executive Director also provides strategic leadership for programming and utilization of Texas Tech's Dallas/Fort Worth regional facility by creating opportunities for professional development, community events, alumni engagement, corporate partnerships, and academic programming that supports the university's mission.
Strategic Partnership Development
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with regional employers, corporations, chambers of commerce, school districts, community colleges, healthcare organizations, nonprofit organizations, and civic leaders.
