The Academic Liaison Office, which includes International Affairs Office, Mainland Affairs Office and HKU Summer Institute, is dedicated to promoting academic exchanges and fostering collaboration with Mainland and overseas institutions. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as we grow.

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree, preferably with at least 2 years' work experience in tertiary institutions. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage); good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; as well as an outgoing personality. They should possess the ability to work independently with initiative; lead projects; and be able to work under pressure.

The appointee will be responsible for the development and management of programmes for the HKU Summer Institute, liaising with departments within the University, overseas institutions and external organisations, student recruitment, bookkeeping, general office administrative duties and performing any other duties as assigned by the Office Head. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Occasional travelling may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
