Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities as part of Residential Life team

• Assist in Outreach, Corporate Communications & Student Life
• Provide support, coordination and guidance to student leader teams for RH residential programmes such VIP visits, Master’s & Fellow’ Tea, Forums, Freshmen Orientation programme etc
• Pandemic support in hostel - safe management measures, isolation procedures, rostered routine testing, meals support
• Support the Hall Master in crisis management cases including intervention, response and follow up
• Provide advisory supports to students on issues and coordinate with Resident Fellows for follow-up
• Provide timely and effective administrative, logistical and welfare support to the Resident Staff and students
• Maintain accurate student disciplinary records in NUS databases
• Provide timely and effective administrative, logistical and welfare support to the Residential Life team and students
• Record and maintains inventory lists
• Assist in fire and safety management
• Handling ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
• Occasionally required to work past office hours

Qualifications

• A University degree or a Polytechnic Diploma with at least 3 years of working experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and good team player
• Analytical, strong planning and organizational skills
• Good writing, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to be flexible and nimble to be effective in diverse settings
• Candidates with experience in hostel management will have an advantage
