Facility Supervisor (Laboratory Animal Leader)

Job Summary

• Provides operational management and oversight of laboratory animal staff, facilities, and activities; identifies operational issues and/or areas of improvement and implements solutions to improve procedures, processes and/or efficiency.
• Develops and maintains operating procedures and guidelines for animal care staff and facility users; ensures compliance per Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and other regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related scientific field).

WORK EXPERIENCE Required
2 years of supervisory/lead technician experience.
