The West Virginia University Health System (WVU Medicine), means you have access to many challenging and rewarding opportunities in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences.
The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as women's health, cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others. The Health System operates West Virginia's first and only multi-organ transplant center and opened a 150-bed Children's Hospital in September 2022. This includes our state-of-the-art birthing center.
Today, the WVU Health System has more than 3,400 licensed beds, 4,600 providers, and nearly 35,000 employees.
