Faculty Position
The Department of Microbiology and Immunology (M/I) and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth seek applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join our collegial and collaborative department and scientific community. Exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor rank may be considered. The ideal candidate will employ innovative, cutting-edge approaches to explore fundamental questions at the intersection of host-viral/microbe interactions, the immune system, and human health and disease.
The successful candidate will be expected to initiate and establish a robust, extramurally funded research program, provide research training and mentorship for graduate and undergraduate students, participate in the Dartmouth scientific community, and contribute to teaching in classroom settings.
A generous start-up package as well as access to state-of-the-art research facilities will be provided.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D., MD or equivalent degree and relevant postdoctoral research experience.
